We are looking to recruit a Senior Occupational Health and Safety Technician who is keen to play a leading role in creating safer, more efficient and more sustainable working environments. Key Features

  • Implementation of plans to reduce accident rates and improve working conditions.
  • Monitoring of key health and safety indicators (KPIs)
  • Develop measures to proactively adapt the legislation currently applicable to the company.
  • Carrying out and monitoring risk assessments
  • Design and implement specific measurement strategies
  • Management of emergency measures, self-protection plans and drills.
  • Carry out on-site safety checks to ensure compliance with the measures
  • Managing Business Activity Coordination (CAE) Documentation
  • To design and deliver in-house safety training in accordance with regulations, internal requirements or specific client requirements.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Education: University Degree and Official Master’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety with the 3 current specialisms (Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, and Ergonomics and Applied Psychosociology).
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in similar occupational health and safety management roles, preferably in industrial or technical settings, or in sectors with stringent regulatory and recruitment requirements.
  • Software: Proven experience of working with health and safety management software Prevengos (an essential tool for everyday life).
  • Management Systems: Practical experience in implementing or maintaining health and safety management systems in accordance with the standard ISO 45001.

  • Technical rigour and analytical skills for the preparation of reports and studies.
  • Independence, a proactive approach and organisational skills for implementing processes.
  • Excellent communication and assertiveness skills for managing operational teams, subcontractors and middle management.
  • Mobility: A Category B driving licence and the ability to travel regularly to the various work sites.
